In the days leading up to the Lunar New Year 2025, Vinamilk donated more than 71,000 nutritional products and many gifts to thousands of children in special circumstances, disadvantaged workers, railway employees working through Tet and passengers returning home on the New Year's Eve train.
Delicious milk and happy children celebrate Tet
In the days before Tet At Ty, Vinamilk and the Vietnam Grow Up Milk Fund visited children at the Protection Centers, SOS Villages... to give nutritional gifts, adding to the joy of Tet. It is estimated that nearly 1,300 gifts, equivalent to nearly 15,000 nutritional products, reached the children on this occasion.
On January 21, 2025, Vinamilk representatives visited the less fortunate children at Thu Duc Youth Village and Tam Binh Children's Protection Center (HCMC). This is currently the "home" of more than 530 children in special circumstances, many of whom were adopted from the Rose Shelter.
Nearly 2,500 boxes of milk along with many gifts, toys, and school supplies were given to the children. Besides the joy of having more delicious milk and gifts, the children also had moments filled with laughter when playing and singing with Vinamilk's uncles and aunts.
Even though they had only babbled a few words, the children under 3 years old could not hide their joy in the special atmosphere of spring. The tight hugs of the children when they were held in their arms were also what each Vinamilk employee remembered most after the trip.
Then, on January 25, more than 120 children from SOS Children's Village Go Vap, one of the first two SOS villages in Vietnam, also received Tet gifts from the Vietnam Grow Up Milk Fund program. Not only here, nearly 1,000 Tet gifts equivalent to 13,100 boxes of 100% Vinamilk fresh milk, were also given to children being raised and studying at all 17 SOS Children's Villages across the country.
Thousands of gifts of delicious milk boxes were given to children in Ho Chi Minh City, Dien Bien, Hanoi, Phu Tho, Hai Phong, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Binh, Hue, Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Ben Tre, and Ca Mau in the days leading up to Tet.
More joy on the roads "bringing Tet home"
For Vietnamese people, Tet is a time for family reunion after a year of hard work. Therefore, Tet trains always carry very special emotions. During these peak days, most railway employees have to work almost non-stop, so that everyone can return home safely to celebrate Tet.
Understanding this effort, Vinamilk has cooperated with Vietnam Railway Corporation to present 2,500 nutritional gifts to railway staff. This is both a word of encouragement and gratitude to those who have spent warm moments of reunion with their families to complete their tasks.
Also on this occasion, Vinamilk gave 1,000 health gifts to passengers on the special train on New Year's Eve. Each gift included many nutritious products such as Vinamilk 100% fresh milk, Vinamilk 9-nut milk and Sure Prevent Gold milk for adults, so that each passenger could bring it home to celebrate Tet.
On the occasion of Tet At Ty 2025, Vinamilk also accompanied the Spring Bus program - bringing 1,700 workers back to their hometown to celebrate Tet At Ty 2025 organized by the City Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation.
Accordingly, Vinamilk supported with a total value equivalent to more than 400 million VND, contributing to giving 1,700 bus tickets and 13,500 nutritional products to workers in difficult circumstances who have not been able to return home for Tet for many years. Along with that are thousands of "lucky money" vouchers from Vinamilk for the beginning of the year to 500 workers staying in Ho Chi Minh City on this occasion.
