“City Tet Fest - Thu Duc 2025” is a series of unique cultural, entertainment and artistic activities during the holiday season and Tet in Ho Chi Minh City.
The number of people expected to attend the event "City Tet Fest - Thu Duc 2025" in 5 days is up to 600,000, with an average of 120,000 people per day. With a huge number of people gathering at the outdoor event with many entertainment activities, many people will need to access the internet to livestream, take photos to check-in the event, and make video calls to relatives to share memorable moments to welcome the new year. Therefore, Viettel will increase 5G coverage at the event "City Tet Fest - Thu Duc 2025" to meet the needs of customers participating in the event, as well as the needs of more than 200 booths on a total area of nearly 20 hectares at Saigon Riverside Park where the event takes place. 5G transmission will also support the Organizing Committee in livestreaming, reporting, payment transactions as well as operations.

Previously, at two famous music events Anh Trai Say Hi and Anh Trai Vuot Ngan Chong Gai concerts in Hanoi, Viettel deployed the most modern and high-configuration 5G stations with 64T/64R technology, meeting the network connection needs of tens of thousands of customers at the above events. Here, customers can easily connect to the network via Viettel 5G with a speed 10 times faster than 4G and almost no latency. Viettel launched the first and largest 5G network in Vietnam with more than 6,500 broadcasting stations with outdoor coverage of over 90% of the capital areas of 63 provinces and cities, industrial parks, schools, airports, seaports... Viettel's 5G network speed can reach from 700Mbps-1Gb, 10 times faster than 4G and low latency of almost 0, deployed simultaneously on both 5G NSA (non stand alone) and 5G SA (stand alone) architecture platforms.
