This afternoon, January 25, in Dong Ha City, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade, Quang Tri Branch (VietinBank Quang Tri Branch) held a customer appreciation conference in 2024. In his opening speech, Director of VietinBank Quang Tri Branch Nguyen Dinh expressed his gratitude to customers who have trusted, accompanied, shared opportunities, and cooperated effectively with the unit over the past time so that all parties can achieve the highest business results together.

In 2023, VietinBank Quang Tri branch overcame difficulties and challenges and achieved many positive results. In particular, mobilized capital increased by nearly 12%; outstanding loans increased by nearly 9%; it is the state-owned commercial bank with the highest growth rate in the group with the total scale of the branch reaching over 12,000 billion VND and ranked 2nd among commercial banks in the province.

Last year, the unit focused resources on investing in lending to key projects in line with the province's general direction; creating conditions for businesses and entrepreneurs to borrow capital, invest in production of goods and trade, reduce lending interest rates and apply preferential policies. Thereby, meeting most of the capital needs of customers in the whole province, in order to support businesses to develop their business and contribute to the overall development of Quang Tri.

In addition, VietinBank Quang Tri branch has always been at the forefront of social security work. From 2010 to present, VietinBank has supported more than 200 billion VND to join local Party committees and authorities in organizing many charitable, humanitarian, gratitude and community-oriented activities. Thanks to that, 300 houses for the poor, 35 schools, 20 medical stations, 3 cultural houses, 2 clean water projects have been built; 7 ambulances and medical equipment have been donated to a number of hospitals and medical centers in the province; funding has been provided to build and renovate many historical sites and cemeteries in localities; gifts have been given to the poor, flood victims, and sustainable livelihoods have been created for people in difficult circumstances...

Speaking at the conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong congratulated, acknowledged and commended the contributions of VietinBank Quang Tri branch in the past year to the overall socio-economic development of the province.

At the same time, in the coming time, VietinBank Quang Tri branch is requested to actively coordinate with relevant units in disseminating and popularizing the new regulations of the Law on Credit Institutions (amended) recently passed by the National Assembly; concretizing the Central Government's guidelines and policies by enhancing the application of digital technology, flexibility and innovation in credit lending to shorten administrative procedures to best serve units, businesses and people. Continue to pay attention and actively participate in implementing community security activities to stand side by side with the province to take care of people's lives.

On this occasion, VietinBank Quang Tri branch donated 15 houses of gratitude to people in Dakrong and Huong Hoa districts with a total cost of 750 million VND. At the same time, a lucky draw was held with many lucky and meaningful gifts for customers.
