Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vietcombank Board of Directors member and General Director Le Quang Vinh emphasized: “Current innovation activities are like a strong, continuous flow that does not allow for waiting. However, there are still some departments that are hesitant to change, hesitant to accept new thinking and new ways of doing things. Therefore, in the current context of fierce competition, only innovation is the key to ensuring competitiveness and maintaining Vietcombank's position.”
The General Director also requested the Implementation Board to focus highly, carefully study the consulting unit's documents, arrange working time reasonably, spend maximum time interacting and discussing, especially discussing directly with experts to thoroughly absorb the valuable and carefully researched experiences and viewpoints of the consulting unit.
Next, the entire Board of Directors, Heads of Departments/ Divisions/ Centers at the headquarters must thoroughly understand the importance of innovation; form, spread and promote a culture of innovation throughout the system, with all levels of staff from branches to headquarters, from employees to senior leaders; focus on training employees in new skills, especially digital skills, innovative thinking and adapting to change.

At the ceremony, Deputy Director in charge of Digital Banking Center, Head of the Coordination Team for Vietcombank's Innovation Strategy Development Vu Thi Thuy Minh briefly presented the implementation plan of "Building Vietcombank's innovation strategy"; Mr. Nicolas LeBlanc - Program Director, Senior Expert of Strategyzer introduced some typical innovation activities and methods in the market; some main contents within the framework of the program. This was followed by an exchange and discussion between Vietcombank and experts from Strategyzer Company about the interview and survey methods conducted within the framework of "Building Vietcombank's innovation strategy".

After half a day of urgent and effective work, the Launching Ceremony of “Building Vietcombank’s Innovation Strategy to 2025, with a vision to 2030” was a great success.
