Vietcombank and Envision Group signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation.

At Vietcombank Head Office No. 198 Tran Quang Khai, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi, the Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony between Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) - Hoang Mai Branch and Envision Energy Vietnam Company Limited has just taken place. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Ho Van Tuan - Deputy General Director of Vietcombank said that green economic development is a common trend of countries around the world. As a pioneering commercial bank, Vietcombank identifies growth as closely linked to sustainability. In particular, providing credit for green projects is the key task of the bank in the coming time, aiming to realize the Government's commitment at COP26 with the goal of reducing emissions to zero by 2050. "The signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement on agency financing between Vietcombank and Envision Group is a big step forward in the relationship between the two parties. Vietcombank will provide comprehensive financial solutions for Envision and projects, investors using Envision's wind turbine products and services. Vietcombank commits to providing Envision as well as its partners with financing programs with the most preferential and competitive interest rates", said Mr. Ho Van Tuan. Mr. John Lee - General Director of Asia and Africa of Envision Group affirmed that, with the position of a leading bank in Vietnam, the signing of the memorandum of understanding will bring more information and development to the Group's business activities.

Established in 2007, Envision Group has affirmed its global position in the field of manufacturing wind turbines when it has delivered and installed for customers with a total capacity of more than 50GW (about 6% of the world's installed wind power capacity). In addition, Envision is also a pioneer in developing and manufacturing smart wind turbines and providing solutions for "Smart Wind Farms". In particular, Envision's wind turbines can operate at wind speeds of only 4m/s. At the end of 2023, Envision was in the Top 1 of the Chinese wind turbine manufacturers with the largest total newly signed contract capacity (including both domestic and international markets). Envision Group has supplied turbines for 11 projects in Vietnam with a total of 231 turbines and a total capacity of 796.5 MW. This cooperation agreement has demonstrated the will of comprehensive cooperation of both parties, marking an important milestone in the development strategy of each party, and will open up many opportunities for comprehensive and sustainable development in the operation of both parties in the coming time. Vietcombank affirmed its desire to accompany Envision through activities such as coordinating the exploitation and two-way sharing of the portfolio of wind power plant projects using Envision's turbines at present and in the future in the Vietnamese market between Envision and Vietcombank; supporting credit for Envision in the Vietnamese market and neighboring markets; the parties will support the introduction of partners who need to use products and services provided by the other party; coordinate in implementing promotional activities on the media.
