Vietnam ranked first overall at the Southeast Asian Rowing and Canoeing Championship in Hai Phong, with 58 Gold Medals, 53 Silver Medals and 33 Bronze Medals.

On July 7, at the Hai Phong City Rowing Training Center, the final races of the 2024 U19, U23 and Southeast Asian Rowing and Canoeing Championships took place.
On the final day of competition, the teams competed in 9 events at a distance of 200m.
At the end of the tournament, Vietnam ranked first overall with 58 Gold Medals, 53 Silver Medals and 33 Bronze Medals.
Coming in second is Thailand with 13 Gold Medals, 14 Silver Medals and 32 Bronze Medals.
Singapore ranked third with 9 Gold Medals, 11 Silver Medals and 11 Bronze Medals.
Indonesia ranked 4th with 4 Gold Medals, 9 Silver Medals and 8 Bronze Medals.
Malaysia ranked 5th with 3 Gold Medals and 1 Silver Medal. Finally, Cambodia ranked 3 Bronze Medals.
The U19, U23 and Southeast Asian Rowing and Canoeing Championships are the most prestigious tournaments in the Southeast Asian region.
This tournament gathered more than 500 members, including 264 members of Rowing and nearly 300 members of Canoeing, who are excellent team leaders, coaches and athletes from 7 Southeast Asian countries including Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
According to experts, this tournament is more about competition than achievement.
The delegations coming to the tournament all carefully consider the number of participating athletes as well as the purpose of competing in the events to be able to prepare well and aim for the 33rd SEA Games taking place in 2025 in Thailand./.
