Vietnam – China: Close neighbors, special friendship

China was the first country in the world to establish diplomatic relations with the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam), marking an important historical milestone in the long-standing relationship between the two countries.
Over the past 75 years, the Vietnam-China relationship has continuously expanded and deepened in all areas, contributing to maintaining the trend of stable development of traditional friendship, comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and the increasingly developing "Vietnam-China community of shared future of strategic significance".
