The Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) announced on May 11 that the 31st World Travel Awards for Asia and Oceania are now open for voting at www.worldtravelawards.com. The voting deadline is July 23, 2024.

According to the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, at the World Travel Awards 2024, at the national level, Vietnam was honored to be nominated in many important categories including: Asia's Leading Beach Destination; Asia's Leading Cultural Destination; Asia's Leading Heritage Destination; Asia's Leading Nature Destination; Asia's Leading Youth Destination. At the local level, Ho Chi Minh City was nominated for the category: Asia's Leading Business Travel Destination; Hanoi was nominated in 2 categories: Asia's Leading Short-Term City Destination and Asia's Leading City Destination.

Hoi An and Hue were nominated as Asia's leading cultural city destinations. Ha Giang and Ha Nam were nominated as Asia's leading emerging tourist destination. Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City were nominated as Asia's leading festival and event destination. Phu Quoc was nominated for Asia's leading luxury island destination. Moc Chau was nominated as Asia's leading local natural destination.

There are also many other nominations for Vietnam tourism in the fields of aviation, hotels, travel, and top Asian landscapes.
