In November 2024, the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) awarded the "Best Tourist Village" award in 2024 to Tra Que Vegetable Village (Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province). This prestigious award is not only a source of pride for the people of Tra Que but also puts the image of rural Vietnam on the world tourism map.

About 3 km from Hoi An ancient town, Tra Que vegetable village is inherently a famous place, attracting many tourists, and is now more exciting than ever when it was honored by UN Tourism as "Best Tourist Village" in 2024.
When spring comes, Tra Que vegetable village seems to put on a beautiful new coat. The green of the leaves blends with the white and yellow of the small, pretty flowers, creating a bright and vibrant space. The gentle scent of the soil and all kinds of herbs mixed in the cool air wafts with each gentle spring breeze, soothing the footsteps of visitors.

The people of Tra Que, with bright smiles on their faces, are busy tending their vegetable gardens and welcoming visitors. The chirping of birds and their voices create a wonderful spring symphony.
Mr. Nguyen Len (66 years old), who has been growing vegetables in Tra Que village for more than 40 years, said that Tra Que vegetable village has a history dating back to the 17th century, famous for growing vegetables using traditional, unique organic methods.
Currently, Tra Que village has 202 households participating in vegetable growing activities with 326 direct workers on an area of 18 hectares of cultivated land, bringing in a stable source of income. In addition, tourism activities have brought vegetable growers a very significant source of income. The traditional method of growing organic vegetables not only protects the environment, ensures food safety but also creates vegetable products with a unique flavor that is difficult to find elsewhere.

Coming to Tra Que, visitors can explore the largest vegetable farm in the Quang Nam - Da Nang region, witnessing the vegetable growing process from sowing to harvesting. In addition, visitors can also participate in the village's traditional festival and enjoy specialties made from fresh ingredients in the garden.
Not only offering experiences of nature and cuisine, Tra Que Vegetable Village is also a valuable cultural destination. In Tra Que village, there are historical relics such as Cham stone well, Tho Than Temple, Ngu Hanh Temple, Nguyen Van Dien's Tomb... or Cau Bong Worship Ceremony along with customs, practices, beliefs, culinary culture are being preserved and promoted effectively, which is a testament to the long-standing development process of the village...
