Accordingly, on August 1 (US time) in California, the world award ceremony of the World Office Software Championship (MOSWC 2024) and the World Graphic Design Championship (ACPWC 2024) will take place.
The Vietnamese team excelled over many candidates from hundreds of countries and territories, extending its record of international achievements by winning two bronze medals.
Contestant Nguyen Minh Duong (second-year student, Hanoi University of Science and Technology), is the representative of the MOS Vietnam team and won a bronze medal in the Microsoft Word 365 Apps competition.
This is the second time Nguyen Minh Duong has participated in the World Office Championship. Previously, Duong participated in the 2021 season and won second place nationally in the Microsoft Word 2016 category.

In addition, 5 members of the MOS Vietnam team all made it into the top 10 contestants with the highest scores in each competition at the 2024 world finals: Do Dong Hai (National Economics University, top 4 in Microsoft Excel 365 Apps); Tran Truong Giang (Long Truong High School, Ho Chi Minh City, top 4 in Microsoft Office Word 2019); Tran Thanh An (Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, top 4 in Microsoft Office Excel 2019); Pham Nguyen Minh Hoang (Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School, Hanoi, top 5 in Microsoft PowerPoint 365 Apps); Vo Ngoc Anh Linh (Bao Loc High School for the Gifted, top 7 in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2019).
Along with that, the Vietnam Graphic Design Team (ACP) 2024 also had an excellent performance when Mai Ngoc Linh, an 11th grade student at Chu Van An High School (Hanoi), won a bronze medal.
The MOSWC and ACPWC 2024 seasons have officially come to an end. This year's achievements have brought the total number of medals won by the Vietnamese team at the world finals of both competitions to 22, including 4 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 14 bronze medals.
