On December 17, in Hanoi, an international conference on the aviation industry was held to develop a network of sustainable production and supply chains for consumption.
"With good cooperation with countries around the world, this is a valuable asset for Vietnam to participate in the global aviation industry supply chain" - this is the affirmation of Mr. Stephan Castet - CEO of Advanced Business Events (ABE) - Republic of France at the international conference on the aviation industry (Hanoi Aviation Forum 2024) held on the morning of December 17 in Hanoi.

The workshop was organized by the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with Advanced Business Events Company - Republic of France with the participation of leaders of ministries and localities: Public Security, Industry and Trade, Civil Aviation Authority (Ministry of Transport), Hanoi and Vinh Phuc Departments of Industry and Trade; leaders of professional associations, research institutes, universities in Hanoi; industrial promotion and industrial development consulting centers with the participation of nearly 300 delegates from international organizations, supporting industry manufacturing enterprises...
The event aims to develop a network of production chains, service supply, and sustainable consumption in the aviation industry. Thereby, creating an environment for the development of a high-end sustainable network applying high-knowledge technology and cleaner production, contributing to enhancing the image and position of Vietnam in the production, supply, and sustainable consumption network of the aviation industry in Asia and the world.

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thang - Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade said: Hanoi's economy in the third quarter of 2024 has developed rapidly, the industrial sector increased by 6.28% over the same period, in which the processing and manufacturing industry continued to play an important role with an increase of 5.19%. The industrial production index (IIP) increased by 5.4% over the same period.

“Implementing the National Action Program on Sustainable Production and Consumption in 2024, the city has assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to preside over and coordinate with ABE Company - Republic of France to organize a workshop to create an environment for developing a high-end aviation industry network, applying high-knowledge technology, clean production, and transporting products by plane associated with consumers, ” Mr. Thang affirmed.
Hanoi has advantages in terms of enterprise scale, high-quality labor force, many scientific and technological research facilities, convenient transportation connection with Hai Phong and Quang Ninh seaports, especially Noi Bai International Airport. Hanoi is currently developing industrial parks and clusters to support businesses with production and business premises, promoting industrial production to create a lever for economic development, with solutions to support industrial parks and clusters to complete infrastructure, develop new industrial clusters, focus on localizing industrial products, greening the industry; upgrading the supply chain and value chain of industries so that the capital's industry can accelerate and participate in the global high-end network.

Affirming that Vietnam has great potential in developing supply chains and sustainable consumption in the aviation industry, Mr. Stephan Castet said: As a business specializing in organizing aviation and space events worldwide, Advanced Business Events Company has a global vision of the supply chain for the aviation industry.
“Our mission is to help Airbus and Boeing identify new suppliers, introduce tier 1, 2, and 3 suppliers to universities and research institutes to design and build the aircraft of the future together. In 2023, we organized the International Exhibition Fair of the Advanced Network for Production, Supply, and Sustainable Consumption in the Aviation Industry in Hanoi with more than 200 companies worldwide and today's event we are here to introduce these opportunities to Vietnam,” said Mr. Stephan Castet.
According to Mr. Stephan Castet, Vietnam is like Morocco, a few years ago Morocco only had 3-5 businesses in the aviation industry and now they have more than 200 companies.

“ Vietnam has more advantages, you have strong aviation companies, in the volatile geopolitical conditions of the world, Vietnam still has good relations with all countries in the world, this is the asset for you to develop in the aviation industry ” - Mr. Stephan Castet affirmed and said that Advanced Business Events Company will continue to support Vietnam in identifying opportunities, identifying customers and suppliers.
The international conference on the aviation industry aims to introduce and create a favorable environment to help potential enterprises of Hanoi in particular and Vietnam in general grasp information to participate in the international high-end aviation service supply chain network, support enterprises to become service providers; access joint venture opportunities, increase export profits.

At the workshop, speakers introduced the market and development potential of Vietnam's aviation industry to businesses in the world's high-end sustainable production and consumption network of the aviation industry and Vietnamese businesses; popularized and introduced products, models, equipment, technology, production capacity, human resource training, technical infrastructure, logistics, etc. of Hanoi city and the whole country in readiness to participate in the global high-end aviation industry supply chain.
