The information was recorded by the top Saudi Arabian energy official and sent to the Baker Hughes 2024 Annual Conference held in Florence, Italy.
"Saudi Arabia and its partners have always been proactive in supporting the stability of the oil market. However, we believe that ensuring the stability of the international oil market is not Riyadh's sole responsibility, but the obligation of all partners in the global oil market," Mr. Abdulaziz affirmed.
Saudi Arabia's Energy Minister also stressed the Middle Eastern country's important role as a key global energy supplier.
The world's economic growth depends on efforts to ensure a safe and reliable energy supply chain, he said.
The head of Saudi Arabia's energy ministry said events such as the attack on the country's energy infrastructure in September 2019 and the Covid-19 pandemic required "exceptional measures".
“We always do our best for the benefit of the global energy market and the world economy,” said Mr. Abdulaziz.
Saudi Arabia has taken a major step towards building a more sustainable future by launching an initiative that combines the energy transition with a sustainable energy program. This is aimed at achieving the global goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing the use of clean energy."
The initiative also contributes to promoting a just and orderly energy transition to ensure the world achieves global goals.
