This morning, January 18, the first day the authorities adjusted traffic organization at the Khuat Duy Tien - Nguyen Trai - Nguyen Xien intersection (Thanh Xuan district) for vehicles to circulate through this intersection.

Nguyen Xien area towards Khuat Duy Tien has prolonged congestion.

According to the Lao Dong Newspaper, although it was the weekend, the authorities actively diverted traffic, but the traffic situation here was still congested for a long time. In the Khuat Duy Tien street area towards the Khuat Duy Tien - Nguyen Trai intersection, thousands of vehicles were stuck on the road, and the flow of vehicles from the exit to Ring Road 3 was also congested for a long time.

On Nguyen Xien Street towards Khuat Duy Tien - Nguyen Trai intersection, traffic was congested for about 600 meters.

Waiting for the red light in the middle of a crowded traffic at the Khuat Duy Tien - Nguyen Trai intersection, Nguyen Van Dinh (living in Thanh Xuan district) said that this intersection is more congested than usual. Hopefully, in the coming days, when people get used to the new way of moving, the congestion will be less.

Also according to the record, the traffic situation after being reorganized at the Khuat Duy Tien - Nguyen Trai intersection is more crowded and congested than usual. However, people still obey traffic lights, stop and park according to regulations.

According to the authorities, traffic at this intersection is more congested than before after being reorganized. However, the reason may be that this is the first day of the pilot project, so people are still not familiar with the new traffic flow method of the Hanoi Department of Transport.

Some times traffic conflicts occur

According to the new traffic flow of the Hanoi Department of Transport, vehicles moving here from the following roads: Vehicles from Khuat Duy Tien Street, when passing through the intersection, if they want to move towards Nguyen Trai to Ha Dong, turn right. If going to the city center, vehicles need to go straight through the center of the intersection and then turn left onto Nguyen Trai Street. In case they want to move to Nguyen Xien Street, vehicles go straight through the center of the intersection.

In addition, vehicles are allowed to turn around at the opening point in front of house number 114-C3 Khuat Duy Tien, located between pillars T179-T180 of the elevated Ring Road 3 bridge.

Authorities actively regulate traffic

From Nguyen Xien Street, passing through the intersection, vehicles going to Ha Dong will go straight through the center of the intersection, then turn left onto Nguyen Trai Street. If they want to go to the city center, they will turn right onto Nguyen Trai.

In case of moving to Khuat Duy Tien street, vehicles go straight through the center of the intersection. Vehicles from Nguyen Xien street are allowed to turn around at the opening point in front of house number 1 Nguyen Xien, located between pillars T176-T177 of the elevated Ring Road 3 bridge.
