Why did Miss Ngoc Han stop being Deputy General Director of Ninh Van Bay?

The Board of Directors of Ninh Van Bay Tourism Real Estate Joint Stock Company (Ninh Van Bay, stock code: NVT) has just sent a document reporting to the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange about personnel changes.

Accordingly, Ninh Van Bay said the company's Board of Directors agreed to the resignation of Ms. Dang Thi Ngoc Han from the position of Deputy General Director from May 17 for the reason of "need to focus on other goals".

Ms. Ngoc Han was appointed as Deputy General Director of Ninh Van Bay from March 2022 with the role of promoting the image of the company's resorts. Ms. Han was born in 1989 and was crowned Miss Vietnam 2010.

Ninh Van Bay is the operator of the 5-star Six Senses Ninh Van Bay resort in Nha Trang city (Khanh Hoa province). The resort has more than 50 villas with private swimming pools overlooking the sea.

On the Six Senses website, the cheapest rental price for a villa is around 15-16 million VND/night and the highest is around 180 million VND/night, depending on the area and design.

In addition to the 5-star resort in Nha Trang, Ninh Van Bay also has other projects such as Ana Mandara Villas Resort & Spa, a leading resort in Da Lat (Lam Dong province). The project has a scale of 7 hectares, including 17 villas, a restaurant, wine cellar, swimming pool, golf course...

According to Ninh Van Bay's recent consolidated financial report, in the first quarter of 2024, this enterprise recorded net revenue of VND 113.5 billion (up 22% over the same period) and after-tax profit of VND 16 billion, 9 times higher than in the first quarter of 2023.

In the market, in March 2022, NVT shares attracted attention when they continuously increased sharply and climbed to VND 34,650/share, the highest level after more than 10 years of listing.

However, the stock then plummeted, falling to 4,000-5,000 VND in November 2022. From the beginning of 2023 until now, NVT shares have only fluctuated around the price range of 7,500 - 8,000 VND/share.

Currently, this stock is priced at VND 8,100/share. Compared to the beginning of 2024, this stock has only increased slightly by 2.79%.
