About 6km from the center of Sung La commune, Dong Van district, is Lao Xa village, one of the places with the earliest peach blossoms in Ha Giang , attracting tourists to visit at the end of February.

Lao Xa is not as famous as other tourist villages in Ha Giang such as Du Gia, Lo Lo Chai, Thien Huong, Nam Dam, Ban Phung... Sung La is a border commune of Ha Giang province, Lao Xa village is about 6km from the commune center, is home to the H'Mong people.
