The price of SJC gold was listed by Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) at 82.3-84.3 million VND/tael, an increase of 500,000 VND in both buying and selling prices compared to the previous trading session. The difference between the buying and selling prices is 2.0 million VND.
The price of 9999 gold today is listed by DOJI at 82.3 million VND/tael for buying and 84.3 million VND/tael for selling, down 100,000 VND/tael for both buying and selling compared to the previous session. The difference between the buying price and selling price is 2.0 million VND.
At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, the price of Mi Hong gold at the time of survey was listed at 83.5-84.3 million VND/tael for buying and selling. Compared to yesterday, the price of SJC gold bars also increased by 10,000 VND/tael for buying and remained the same for selling.
PNJ gold price is listed at 82.3-84.3 million VND/tael, down 100,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling prices compared to the previous session's close.
Bao Tin Minh Chau gold price was traded by the enterprise at 82.3 million VND/tael for buying and 84.3 million VND/tael for selling, down 100,000 VND/tael for buying and selling compared to the previous session's close.

Sacombank and Eximbank traded SJC gold bars at the same price as gold companies; while ACB listed buying price at 83 million VND/tael and selling price at 84.5 million VND/tael, 200,000 VND/tael higher than other places.
Meanwhile, the price of gold rings and jewelry of all kinds fluctuated quite unexpectedly. SJC Company listed the price of 99.99 gold rings at 82.3 million VND/tael for buying and 84.1 million VND/tael for selling, down about 300,000 VND/tael compared to the end of the week.
Other businesses also adjusted the price of plain gold rings with a difference, such as PNJ and DOJI selling at 84.3 million VND while Mi Hong sold at 84.2 million VND/tael.
The buying price of Rong Thang Long gold ring of Bao Tin Minh Chau is 82.98 million VND/tael, the selling price is 84.28 million VND/tael, an increase of 280 thousand VND/tael in buying price and a decrease of 120 thousand VND/tael in selling price.
In the international gold market, the world gold price this morning increased to 2,625.9 USD/ounce. If converted according to Vietcombank exchange rate, excluding taxes and fees, the world gold price is currently worth 80.8 million VND/tael, about 3.5 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.

In the world market, gold prices recorded a 2% decrease last week. US gold futures increased by 1.4% to 2,645.10 USD/ounce. Although maintaining the upward momentum in the last session of the week, the previous decreases still caused the world gold price to witness a week of decline.
After hitting a two-week low in the trading session on December 18, the world gold price has rebounded. This move took place in the context of the US Federal Reserve (Fed) lowering interest rates as expected by the market.
Along with this decision, the Fed signaled that it would slow down interest rate cuts in the coming time, causing the USD and US government bond yields to increase, thereby putting pressure on gold prices.
However, experts remain optimistic about the prospects of the precious metal, as China - the country with the world's largest gold reserves - has resumed gold purchases after a 6-month pause. This move is considered one of the important factors supporting gold prices, despite pressure from US monetary policy.
