According to the agreement, the two sides will cooperate in research and active discussions, aiming to develop about 100,000 VinFast electric vehicle charging stations in Indonesia in the next three years with a total expected investment of up to 1.2 billion USD.

In the first phase, VinFast charging stations will be prioritized by V-GREEN to develop in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bali and neighboring areas, and continue to expand the network in the following phases.

With a high proportion of electrified transportation, these are key areas in V-GREEN's expansion strategy in the Indonesian market to take advantage of VinFast's diverse urban electric vehicle product range. The construction and development of charging stations will be implemented from January 2025, with some charging stations expected to be put into operation in 2025.

With a network of operations spanning the Middle East and Africa, Prime Group will be responsible for arranging capital for the construction and development of VinFast electric vehicle charging stations. V-GREEN will proactively research the market, identify strategic locations to build and operate a network of charging stations, meeting the growing needs of electric vehicle users in Indonesia.

Mr. Tamer Wagih Salem - Chairman of Prime Group - said that with extensive experience in many fields, this group cooperates with V-GREEN to exploit great opportunities in the green transportation industry in Indonesia, one of the most potential markets in Southeast Asia.

"The partnership with V-GREEN will bring us many global opportunities, starting from Indonesia and then continuing to conquer other potential markets in the Middle East, Europe, UK and US, creating outstanding values, contributing to building a sustainable future for the world," said Mr. Tamer Wagih Salem.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Duong - General Director of V-GREEN - said that cooperation with a strategic partner from the Middle East will open up great opportunities for V-GREEN in developing a global network of electric vehicle charging stations.

"We will build a complete electric vehicle ecosystem, contributing to reducing environmental pollution and improving the quality of life, bringing outstanding values to both businesses, consumers and the community. Together with VinFast and GSM, we will start to strongly spread the campaign For a Green Future in Indonesia," said Mr. Duong.

V-GREEN was established by Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong - founder of VinFast - with 90% ownership and was separated from VinFast's charging station development department. The company is responsible for investing in the entire electric vehicle infrastructure of VinFast, with the clear goal of developing a green ecosystem, contributing to promoting the electric transportation revolution.

Since officially launching the brand in Indonesia, VinFast has officially delivered two models VF e34 and VF 5, expanded its dealer network, and broken ground on an assembly plant in Subang (West Java) in an effort to improve its global production capacity.
