The Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee held the 11th Conference, Term X

On January 4, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee held the 11th Conference, Term X, to evaluate the results of the Front's work in 2023 and deploy a program of coordination and unified action in 2024. Comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired the conference. Attending were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Tran Minh Luc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Long Bien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Chamaléa Thi Thuy, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission.

In 2023, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations at all levels in the province have carried out their tasks with focus and key points, with many flexible and creative solutions, suitable to the local situation and achieved positive results. Notably, they have promoted the application of digital transformation, improved the quality and effectiveness of propaganda and mobilization work to build the great national unity bloc among the people, ethnic minorities, religions, and overseas Vietnamese. They have played a good role as a bridge between the Party Committee, the government and the people; organized forums to listen to the voices of the people, the poor, people in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; propaganda, support the successful organization of the Congress of the Provincial Council of Bani Imams, term 2023-2028... At the same time, develop and implement the Project to support housing for poor and near-poor households in the period 2023-2025, with the goal of ensuring 1,243 poor and near-poor households have stable housing, with a total implementation cost of over 124 billion VND. Mobilize support for the "For the Poor" Fund of over 15 billion VND; support the construction of 127 new solidarity houses; implement the plan for each commune, ward and town to build a sustainable poverty reduction livelihood model, initially building 63 models, with a total implementation cost of over 38.6 billion VND.

At the conference, comrade Tran Minh Luc reported the results of the 15th session of the 11th Provincial People's Council. Comrade Nguyen Long Bien informed about the results of the implementation of the province's socio-economic development tasks in 2023 and a number of key tasks and solutions in 2024; the results of the implementation of the Coordination Regulations between the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in 2023. At the same time, the Personnel Plan and the draft (first time) of the Political Report of the 11th Provincial Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029 were approved.

In his closing speech at the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and high responsibility of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels and its member organizations in the past time. He suggested that in 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province continue to seek the leadership of the Party Committee, the coordination of the government and member organizations; correctly and accurately identify key and breakthrough tasks; further strengthen propaganda and organization to achieve results of extensive political activities among cadres, party members, union members, association members and people of all walks of life about the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at all levels, term 2024-2029, the immediate focus is to link the organization of activities and events to welcome the New Year, celebrate the Party, and celebrate the spring of 2024 of the locality, with promoting propaganda about the purpose, meaning and importance of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress at all levels; Organize social security activities well, take care of poor and near-poor households, and people in difficult circumstances, leaving no one behind during the 2024 Lunar New Year. Focus on preparing content, personnel, and necessary conditions to successfully organize the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2024-2029 term; promote the role of religious dignitaries and prestigious representatives among ethnic minorities; enhance the responsibility of presiding over consultation, coordination, and unification of actions between member organizations in developing and organizing the implementation of action programs of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the province; promote digital transformation and application of information technology in the activities of the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels from the province to the grassroots level; promptly encourage, commend, and reward collectives and individuals with achievements in the work of the Front...

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 3 individuals and 1 collective of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for their excellent performance in their tasks; the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee awarded emulation flags to 1 excellent unit; certificates of merit to 15 collectives and 17 individuals for their outstanding achievements in implementing the program of coordinated action of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front.
