Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province: Supervising the implementation of policies and laws on education promotion and building a learning society.

The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has just organized a delegation to supervise the implementation of the State's policies and laws on education promotion and building a learning society in localities in the province. The delegation includes representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Education, Finance, the Women's Union, and the Provincial Association for Education Promotion.

The monitoring delegation worked with the Steering Committee for building a learning society in the localities: Phuoc Thang commune and Bac Ai district; Phuoc Chien commune, Bac Phong commune and Thuan Bac district; Thanh Hai commune (Phan Rang-Thap Cham city) showing that the work of promoting learning and building a learning society has been directed and organized by Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations. Through many different forms and methods, local sectors and levels have propagated the State's guidelines, policies and laws on promoting learning and building a learning society, focusing on the role and importance of learning, raising awareness of learning, self-learning and lifelong learning among all classes of people. Investment in educational infrastructure has been focused on implementation; learning promotion models have operated effectively; Career guidance activities, vocational training, and updating of technological knowledge and skills are regularly organized by the locality, thereby creating conditions for people to access and learn. At the same time, it is necessary to do a good job of praising typical and outstanding examples in studying and self-studying during the annual National Great Unity Day in residential areas.

In addition, the implementation of the work of promoting learning and building a learning society in localities still has limitations, such as: Due to concurrent positions, members of the Steering Committee have not focused on the work of promoting learning and building a learning society; propaganda work has not been implemented well at times and in some places; a part of the people have not voluntarily studied; implementation funds have not been arranged; some learning models have not been effective.

Speaking at the monitoring meetings, the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province highly appreciated and acknowledged the efforts of localities in organizing and implementing the State's guidelines, policies and laws on education promotion and building a learning society. Through the monitoring, the Delegation also requested the Steering Committees to continue to advise the Party Committees to better direct the implementation of education promotion and building a learning society in their localities and units, making the learning movement among the people increasingly widespread, attracting families, clans, communities and citizens to actively study, contributing to improving people's knowledge, developing family economy, contributing to hunger eradication and poverty reduction, and developing local socio-economics.
