From 2022 to June 30, 2023, the Department of Construction received, resolved, explained, and informed voters and people of 14 opinions and recommendations focusing on issues such as: Planning and development of urban areas; land management; investment in social housing construction... However, in the process of resolving opinions and recommendations of voters and people related to construction planning, investment in urban infrastructure development, and welfare works, these recommendations require time, resources, and a specific roadmap for attracting investors and local budget capacity, so the resolution cannot meet the aspirations of voters and people.
Comrade Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee chaired the supervision session at the Department of Construction.
Concluding the supervision session, the Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee requested the Department of Construction to innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of resolving voters' and people's opinions and recommendations in a more comprehensive manner; review difficulties in resolving opinions and recommendations, proactively coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to advise on resolution mechanisms to respond and explain to voters thoroughly, creating satisfaction so that voters do not make repeated comments and recommendations. In the coordination of resolving recommendations, it is necessary to monitor and urge voters to inform them within the prescribed time; strengthen propaganda and mobilization work to create consensus among people in implementing projects and planning; at the same time, complete the report on proposed and recommended contents of difficulties, shortcomings and limitations in resolving voters' and people's opinions and recommendations.
