Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee deploys tasks for 2024

On January 31, the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee held the 3rd Conference, term VII to summarize activities and evaluate the results of the emulation movement to build and protect the Fatherland of Catholic compatriots in 2023; deploy tasks for 2024.

In 2023, the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee and the Catholic Solidarity Committees of districts and cities have propagated and mobilized parishioners to properly implement the policies and laws of the Party and State, effectively carry out movements and campaigns launched by all levels and sectors. Especially the patriotic emulation movement in labor production, solidarity to help each other develop the economy, participate in building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; patriotic emulation movement in mobilizing people to unite to build a cultural life, ensuring security and order in the locality.

Along with that, dignitaries, officials, and parishioners in the province also enthusiastically participate in humanitarian charity activities. The cornea donation movement "For a world without blindness" continues to be maintained. Up to now, the whole province has over 15,000 people registered to donate corneas upon death; 230 people have successfully donated corneas, bringing joy and light to hundreds of blind people, making Ninh Binh the leading province in the country in the cornea donation movement.

In 2024, the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee will continue to propagate and mobilize Catholics to well implement the Party's guidelines, policies, and resolutions, the State's policies and laws; focus on promoting patriotic emulation movements; continue to consolidate and improve the organization, innovate and improve the quality of activities of the Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee, Catholic Solidarity Committees of districts and cities... Strive to have at least 95% of parishes and parishes achieve the title of advanced; 90% of Catholic families achieve the title of exemplary families; 100% of Catholic families, parishes and parishes actively respond to the National Target Program on building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; Catholic Solidarity Committees of districts and cities build 1 to 2 models of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" in socio-economic development; 100% of parishes and parishes build and rapidly increase social charity funds...

Provincial Catholic Solidarity Committee deploys tasks for 2024 — Leaders of the Department of Home Affairs awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee to collectives and individuals with achievements in 2023.

At the conference, many collectives and individuals were commended and rewarded by the Provincial People's Committee, the Vietnam Catholic Solidarity Committee and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
