Applying the latest medical achievements in caring for and protecting people's health

On the afternoon of November 2, at the Presidential Palace, President Vo Van Thuong met with 50 outstanding domestic and international delegates attending the 27th Southeast Asian Cardiology Congress (AFCC2023) organized by the Vietnam Cardiology Association from November 2 to 5 in Hanoi.

At the meeting, President Vo Van Thuong emphasized that the Party and State of Vietnam always consider protecting, caring for and improving people's health as the duty and responsibility of every citizen, of the entire political system and society. Vietnam's position, prestige and international cooperation relations are increasingly expanding and improving, making a positive contribution to sustainable development, peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

This congress is a good opportunity for Vietnamese doctors and regional and international doctors to exchange academic knowledge, learn, share experiences, improve capacity and qualifications, and together build a cardiovascular health care network for the region and the world.

Along with strengthening training, it is necessary to pay attention to the transfer, inheritance, and continuity between the previous and next generation of physicians. Connect and exchange internationally with scientists in the same field to be able to apply the latest medical achievements in caring for, protecting, and improving people's health.
