According to UNESCO's assessment, the nomination dossier for the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son and Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex to be recognized and listed as a World Heritage Site meets all technical requirements guided by the World Heritage Convention.

UNESCO also requested to provide additional images of the relic complex in accordance with the correct size, standards and regulations. The dossier will be sent to the International Council on Monuments and Sites at the same time. Based on the evaluation of the dossier, UNESCO agencies will send a team of experts to conduct a field survey.

Previously, on January 26, the scientific dossier of the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son - Kiep Bac Monuments and Landscape Complex was submitted to UNESCO for recognition as a World Heritage Site. This complex includes 6 special national relic sites and 32 relic sites strictly protected under the Law on Cultural Heritage.

The dossier includes 2,139 pages of documents in Vietnamese and English translation, 101 diagrams, maps, 196 architectural drawings, 260 archaeological drawings, 1,141 photos, reproducing historical, cultural, architectural, intangible and tangible heritage values and a master management plan in the three provinces of Quang Ninh, Hai Duong and Bac Giang. This is the submitted scientific dossier with the most criteria according to the 1972 Convention, both researched, demonstrated and written with fast, positive and urgent progress.

More than 100 domestic and international experts in many fields have surveyed, researched and built the dossier, including many leading experts from the Vietnam Archaeological Association, UNESCO, the Karst and Geological Heritage Center... This is the first heritage dossier in Vietnam following a chain of 18 heritage clusters with 32 relic sites in inter-provincial areas, large areas, and complex mountainous terrain.

Being recognized as a World Heritage Site will be a solid foundation for preserving and promoting heritage values associated with sustainable development of the three provinces in the heritage area.
