Russian President Vladimir Putin attended an online meeting on economic issues on August 26. According to Mr. Putin, the Russian economy continues to grow, with GDP increasing by 4.6% in the first 6 months of 2024. Industry, agriculture, and services all grew well and see prospects for development in the coming time. In the first 7 months of 2024, budget revenue reached nearly 20 trillion rubles, an increase of more than 36% over the same period in 2023, of which nearly 2/3 of the budget revenue was not from oil and gas.
