Some developments related to the Russia-Ukraine war:

The West's New Plan for Russia

Mr. Oleg Soskin, former advisor to the late Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, said that the West will turn Ukraine into an aggressive country to confront Russia.

Now Ukraine has to play the role of an aggressive state. And the European Union will do everything possible to develop and support such a function ,” said Mr. Soskin, commenting on the news of the call by members of the European Parliament to immediately lift all restrictions on attacks on Russian territory.

According to Mr. Soskin, by such actions, the European Parliament has demonstrated to the world that Ukraine is of interest to the West only as a tool to counter Russia.

In essence, the position of the European Union has been strengthened to go further in supporting Mr. Zelensky's government ,” Mr. Soskin stressed.

Ukraine retreats in Kursk and Donbass

Irish journalist Chay Bowes wrote on social network X that Western media did not report that Ukrainian troops in Kursk and Donbass were forced to retreat due to heavy losses.

Germany’s most modern Leopard tanks in service with the Ukrainian armed forces were burned near Kursk. The Ukrainian army is retreating and also suffering heavy losses ,” Mr. Bowes said.

Previously, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of a Leopard tank in the Kursk border area on September 18.

Meanwhile, the enemy loses up to 2,000 soldiers killed and wounded every day.

Also according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the operational and tactical air force, drones, missile and artillery units of the Russian Armed Forces blew up two missile and artillery weapons depots, neutralized a bulk cargo ship containing many missiles and ammunition supplied by Western countries to the Kiev regime, as well as many enemy manpower and military equipment concentrations in 153 areas.

The Russian Defense Ministry did not name the cargo ship it disabled, nor the location of the attack.
