Provincial People's Committee deploys socio-economic development tasks for the last 3 months of the year

On the morning of September 25, comrade Tran Quoc Nam, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the online meeting to review the direction and management of socio -economic development (SEDP) in the first 9 months of 2024, and deploy key tasks for the last 3 months of the year. The socio-economic situation in the first 9 months of 2024 remained stable, with some sectors showing positive changes. The total production value in the first 9 months is estimated at 42,087 billion VND, up 8%; the state budget revenue in the area is estimated at 3,540 billion VND, up 29.2%; total social investment capital increased by 2.6%; job creation reached 92.6% of the plan, up 4.9%, vocational training reached 97.7% of the yearly plan and increased by 17.6% over the same period. Specifically in some sectors: The production value of the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector reached 11,526 billion VND, up 4.13%; the production value of the industry - construction sector increased by 10.4%; the breakthrough in renewable energy continued to be effective. In the service sectors, the total production value is estimated at 11,179 billion VND, up 8.23%; Trade and services continued to recover and increase quite well, attracting over 3.2 million visitors, reaching 100.1% of the plan and increasing by 20%, revenue from tourism activities increased sharply, up 68.8% over the same period. As of September 20, the province's disbursement rate reached 54.6%, higher than the national average (47.8%), it is estimated that by the end of September, the disbursement rate will reach 63% of the plan assigned by the Prime Minister.

Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of departments, branches, units and localities in implementing socio-economic development tasks in the past time. At the same time, he emphasized that in order to ensure the successful implementation of the goals and targets for growth and socio-economic development in 2024, he requested departments, branches, districts and cities to continue to promote their sense of responsibility, focus on implementing drastically and effectively the tasks and solutions set out, especially directing 3 breakthroughs and 6 key sectors and fields, prioritizing growth promotion. Closely monitor and forecast the situation of preparedness to respond to natural disasters, storms and floods in the last months of the year; proactively prevent epidemics for livestock, encourage the development of seafood exploitation and marine farming in a modern direction. Implement regulations on price frameworks and bidding mechanisms for renewable energy projects; Call for attracting investment in projects, speed up the progress of completing and connecting energy projects to the grid early to create new added value; speed up the progress of implementing the Project to establish an Inter-regional Renewable Energy Industry and Service Center in Ninh Thuan; promote trade, call for secondary investment in industrial parks and clusters; stimulate consumption, connect information and support production and consumption of products, especially local products with strengths. Speed ​​up the progress of completing construction planning projects; speed up the construction of a number of new urban areas, residential areas, key tourism projects, pay attention to investing in tourism infrastructure; connect and promote new products to attract tourists, promote the development of service industries. Have solutions to manage construction order, remove difficulties in projects to unlock resources, use land and mineral resources effectively. Effectively implement solutions to collect budget to ensure correct and sufficient collection, and prevent revenue loss. Departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of districts and cities, and investors resolutely implement solutions to accelerate and make breakthroughs in disbursement of public investment capital and 3 national target programs. Continue to review and arrange the school network and recognize new schools that meet national standards; effectively implement support programs for businesses. Proactively monitor and strengthen preventive medicine and prevention of infectious diseases; pay attention to fully implementing social security policies for people with meritorious services. Focus on implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for the poor by the end of 2025 in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister. Effectively implement the province's digital transformation project and Project 06 of the Prime Minister; complete specific goals and tasks on digital transformation in all fields; promote administrative reform. Strengthen administrative discipline and order, promote the responsibility of leaders, avoid the situation of pushing and avoiding work. Step up the resolution of inspection and examination conclusions at local sectors and units. Resolutely resolve the contents of complaints and lawsuits. Effectively carry out military and defense tasks in the new situation; do a good job of fire prevention and fighting, traffic safety, and social order and safety.
