Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee requests to strengthen the implementation of statements and providing information to the press.

Accordingly, implementing Plan No. 1438/KH-UBND, dated May 17, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on information and propaganda on socio-economic development tasks of Tay Ninh province in 2024; in order to create conditions for reporters of central and local press agencies to effectively coordinate information and propaganda on socio-economic development tasks of the province, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requests heads of agencies, units, Chairmen of People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to increase speaking and providing information to the press in accordance with the provisions of law (Decree No. 09/2017/ND-CP dated February 9, 2017 of the Government detailing the speaking and providing information to the press of state administrative agencies and related regulations).

In case of needing to verify information about reporters of press agencies, localities should discuss directly with the Department of Information and Communications before working with them or answering interviews.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Information and Communications to coordinate and support reporters of press agencies during their work in the province according to regulations; monitor the implementation of statements and provision of information to the press of agencies, units and localities in the province according to regulations.
