Japanese Yen exchange rate continues to fall

Today's Japanese Yen exchange rate surveyed on the morning of March 14 at banks is as follows:

At Vietcombank, the buying rate is 162.08 VND/JPY and the selling rate is 171.55 VND/JPY, down 0.63 VND on the buying side and down 0.67 VND on the selling side.

At Vietinbank, the Yen exchange rate increased by 0.41 VND in both buying and selling directions, equivalent to 162.86 VND/JPY and 172.56 VND/JPY.

Today, the Japanese Yen exchange rate continued to fall.

At BIDV, the Japanese Yen exchange rate decreased by 0.09 VND in buying and decreased by 0.11 VND in selling, reaching 162.68 VND/JPY and 171.4 VND/JPY, respectively.

At Eximbank, the buying and selling prices decreased by 0.33 VND, respectively at 164.29 VND/JPY and 169.1 VND/JPY.

At Techcombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate decreased by 0.31 VND at buying and 0.36 VND at selling with prices of 160.19 VND/JPY and 172.64 VND/JPY respectively.

At Sacombank, the Japanese Yen exchange rate decreased by 0.26 VND in buying and selling prices, respectively at 164.98 VND/JPY and 170.03 VND/JPY.

According to the survey, today Sacombank is the bank with the highest buying rate of Japanese Yen and Eximbank is the bank with the lowest selling rate among the banks.

SJC gold price drops more than 2 million VND/tael after a series of hot increases

Today, SJC gold turned around and dropped sharply by 2.3 million VND/tael for buying and 1.8 million VND/tael for selling, while world gold increased again.

At the time of survey at 5:00 a.m. on March 14, 2024, the gold price on the trading floors of some companies was as follows:

DOJI listed the price of 9999 gold at 78.00 million VND/tael for buying and 80.50 million VND/tael for selling.

SJC gold price at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited is also traded by the enterprise at 78.00 - 80.50 million VND/tael (buy - sell). Meanwhile, at Bao Tin Manh Hai, it is being traded at 78.00 - 80.70 million VND/tael (buy - sell).

According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 5:00 a.m. today, Vietnam time, was at 2,174.385 USD/ounce, a difference of 15,925 USD/ounce compared to yesterday's gold price. Converted according to the current exchange rate at Vietcombank, the world gold price is about 63.847 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is still 14.353 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.

Domestic coffee price reaches 92,000 VND/kg

Updated at 5:00 a.m. on March 14, domestic coffee prices increased sharply, up to 900 VND/kg. Currently, the average purchase price in the Central Highlands provinces is 91,900 VND/kg, the highest purchase price in Dak Nong province is 92,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, the coffee purchase price in Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces is quite high at 91,800 VND/kg; In Dak Nong province, coffee is purchased at the highest price of 92,000 VND/kg.

The price of green coffee beans (coffee beans, fresh coffee beans) in Lam Dong province in districts such as Bao Loc, Di Linh, Lam Ha, is purchased at 91,100 VND/kg.

In Cu M'gar district, Dak Lak province, coffee is purchased at 91,800 VND/kg, while in Ea H'leo district, Buon Ho town, it is purchased at the same price of 91,900 VND/kg.
