Dissemination of laws on chemicals in industry

On the morning of November 11, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Department of Chemicals, Ministry of Industry and Trade to organize a conference to disseminate legal documents on chemicals in the industrial sector to units in the province.

At the conference, officials from the Department of Chemicals disseminated and guided the implementation of legal regulations on chemical activities for organizations and individuals directly involved in the production, trading, preservation and use of chemicals and state management officials in this field, focusing on newly issued decrees and circulars.

There are currently over 50 chemical units operating in the industrial sector in the province. The agricultural sector has 516 stores selling fertilizers and pesticides.

The health sector has 1 production and trading unit and 3 chemical-using units. In general, the production, trading, storage and use of chemicals in the province have been relatively stable in recent times, with no incidents of chemical safety that have had a major impact on health, the environment and social order.

The contents of the training course will help units in the province improve their knowledge and responsibility in the process of production, trading, use and preservation of chemicals, ensuring safety and effectiveness in accordance with the provisions of law.
