On the evening of July 15, the Vietnamese women's futsal team entered the final match against the Uzbekistan women's futsal team in a friendly tournament in China. Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang's players had a bad start and conceded a goal in the second minute.
However, right after that, Nguyet Vy and Bui Thi Trang scored 2 goals (in the 3rd and 7th minutes) to help the home team come back to lead 2-1. The Uzbekistan women's futsal team also responded with 2 goals in the 9th and 10th minutes to lead 3-2. In their efforts to find an equalizer in the first half, the Vietnamese women's futsal team was also rewarded with a goal by Thanh Ngan in the 14th minute.

In the first 10 minutes of the second half, the pace of the match was pushed up as the two teams played tit for tat. Realizing that the attack could not be broken, Coach Nguyen Dinh Hoang organized his students to play power-play.
In the 32nd minute, Thanh Ngan's shot hit an opposing player, the ball changed direction and went into the net, raising the score to 4-3. Three minutes later, the same player took a beautiful free kick to deepen the gap for the home team.
Leading by 2 goals, the Vietnamese women's futsal team thought they had a sure win in their hands. However, the Uzbekistan women's futsal team played power-play in the remaining time and scored 2 goals to tie the score at 5-5.
At the end of the friendly futsal tournament in China, the Uzbekistan team ranked first with 7 points after 3 matches; the Vietnam team ranked second (5 points) and player Thanh Ngan (6) received the title of "Best player of the tournament".
