Tung Duong - The Singing Man is the name of Tung Duong's 14th live concert, which will take place at the National Convention Center in Hanoi on November 23.
Tung Duong said that 2024 seemed to be the most energetic and attractive period for his voice. Just stepping on stage, he burned himself out. Such attraction radiating from an artist like Tung Duong is very rare and only great artists are capable of creating it.
This live concert with Tung Duong brings the most positive messages. Tung Duong's voice will be the sharing, calmness and optimism of life's experiences after a year with many fluctuations, ups and downs, storms... And after many years of tirelessly weaving his own unique dream, going through the musical regions of Nhung o mau cuc, Li ti, Troi va dat, Human ... Tung Duong's voice now not only sings his own things but is a voice filled with dedication, to honor humanity.
Tung Duong shared: "With the live concert Tung Duong - The Singing Man, I want to pay tribute to the musicians of Hanoi. This year, the Red River rose due to storms and floods, and I also want to honor the river that has endured the ups and downs of history. When the river surges in storms and floods, we are very sad, bringing many contemplations in life. The children of Hanoi, like the heroes of the Red River, also have to overcome many difficulties in life."
The live concert consists of 3 chapters and Tung Duong wants to perform in a relaxed state of mind, without straining or radiating too much energy, making everyone tired. The music he chooses to sing will also be close to young people and reach a large audience, but he also does not forget to preserve the cultural quintessence through the works of musicians Tran Tien, Le Minh Son, Luu Ha An...
In addition to the new, creative and trend-updating youth songs and love ballads by Dong Thien Duc, Phan Manh Quynh, Tang Duy Tan..., Tung Duong will also introduce some new songs written by Dong Thien Duc and Tang Duy Tan specifically for him. In addition, new works in the album Da Vu: Canh Chim Phuong Hoang , Dan Men Khong Can Khoc ... will also be performed on stage for the first time.
In this live concert, Tung Duong chose all male artists who are young faces with the desire to bring strong, fresh energy. They are 4 hot and talented singers today: Soobin Hoang Son, Trung Quan idol, Double 2T and the cousin of the "hit-making machine" of the Vietnamese music market - singer and musician Tang Duy Tan.
Singer-songwriter Tang Duy Tan is my beloved cousin, whom I trust and have high expectations for, and is growing up day by day. Although Tang Duy Tan is a young face admired by many audiences, he is cautious, perfectionist and responsible. He will appear in my live-concert this time. Tang Duy Tan has been cherishing the whole year to compose a new song for me to perform this time. After Ben tren thang lau, Co lon tren soco, Cat doi noi sau... then Tai sinh by Tang Duy Tan performed by me, I hope will create a new breeze for listeners, especially young audiences," Tung Duong confided.
The male singer added: “Trung Quan idol is a young singer with a unique and high-pitched voice. Trung Quan is successful in love songs, we will juggle each other so that the two most beautiful vocal ranges match each other in ballads full of narrative and romance. With rapper Double 2T, since the release of the MV Canh chim Phuong Hoang, we have not had the opportunity to reunite and this time the two brothers will also have a combination that promises to be explosive and impressive."
Singer Soobin Hoang Son is a talented young face, born into a musical family. Soobin's father is People's Artist Nguyen Huynh Tu - a person that Tung Duong respects in his career. Soobin can play musical instruments, compose, perform and dance beautifully. This reunion is a change when Tung Duong will sing a famous R&B song by Soobin Hoang Son for the first time, while his "junior" will sing a hit song by Tung Duong. A new combination between Tung Duong and Soobin Hoang Son in 2 songs also promises to surprise the audience.
Director Xuan Truong, who understands Tung Duong very well and has left his mark through previous live shows such as Doc Dao and Human, will continue to accompany the male singer in this live-concert. Tung Duong revealed: "Director Xuan Truong updates trends quickly, he understands the latest lighting equipment and stage designs and wants to show them in my show. Therefore, in my show, the visuals are still a bit different, full of art."
Up to this point, Nguyen Huu Vuong is still the musician who understands Tung Duong the most. After the live concert in Hanoi, Tung Duong's crew will have another performance on December 1 at Trung Vuong Theater, Da Nang with guests: People's Artist Thanh Lam, Trung Quan idol and Sao Mai 2022 Champion - Le Minh Ngoc.
