Crowds of people and children flocked to the central streets of Ha Tinh City to admire the giant lanterns shining in the middle of the night streets.
On the evening of September 23, Ha Tinh city organized the "Thanh Sen lantern parade festival"
The program opened with special art performances from Nguyen Du Private Kindergarten and Nguyen Du Primary School.
At the opening ceremony, representatives of Ha Tinh City leaders presented many gifts to the children.
Immediately afterwards, more than 120 giant lanterns from 15 wards and communes in Ha Tinh city, depicting animals such as dragons, buffaloes, birds, fish or stars, took to the streets to parade.
At the forefront is the image of Uncle Ho, the model of Uncle Ho's Mausoleum.
Behind are giant lanterns that have passed through the main streets of the city such as Dao Tan, Tran Phu, Nguyen Du, Xuan Dieu, Nguyen Huy Oanh, Xo Viet Nghe Tinh...

The children could not hide their excitement as they immersed themselves in the atmosphere of the lantern procession festival. Tran My Linh (Thach Quy ward, Ha Tinh city) excitedly said: "This is the first time I have experienced such a grand Mid-Autumn atmosphere. The lanterns are very beautiful and funny, we really like them."
Many families took to the streets to take their children to participate in the lantern festival.
