The Central Interdisciplinary Steering Committee on Food Safety has just issued detailed instructions on the deployment of 5 interdisciplinary inspection teams during the Month of Action for Food Safety in 2025.
Specifically, Group No. 1, chaired by the Department of Food Safety, Ministry of Health, coordinated with the Department of Environmental Crime Prevention and Control (Ministry of Public Security), 1 unit under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, 1 unit under the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Testing Institute under the Ministry of Health to conduct inspections in 2 provinces/cities: Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Phuoc.

Team No. 2, chaired by the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, coordinated with the Department of Environmental Crime Prevention and Control (Ministry of Public Security), 1 unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, 1 unit under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and a testing unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to conduct inspections in 2 provinces: Quang Binh and Quang Tri.
Team No. 3, including the Department of Quality, Processing and Market Development, Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, chaired and coordinated with 1 unit under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Department of Environmental Crime Prevention and Control (Ministry of Public Security), 1 unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, 1 testing unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to conduct inspections in 2 provinces/cities: Hanoi and Bac Giang.
Team No. 4, led by 1 unit under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, coordinated with 1 unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Environmental Crime Prevention and Control (Ministry of Public Security), 1 unit under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and a testing unit under the Ministry of Industry and Trade to conduct inspections in 2 provinces: Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan.
Team No. 5, led by 1 unit under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, coordinated with 1 unit under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, 1 unit under the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Department of Environmental Crime Prevention and Control (Ministry of Public Security), and a testing unit under the Ministry of Industry and Trade to conduct inspections in 2 provinces: Dien Bien and Lai Chau.
The Central Interdisciplinary Steering Committee on Food Safety requires inspection teams to focus on key issues in management and violations of food safety in food production, trading, and advertising.
