On January 15, information from the police agency said that, regarding the case of a man claiming to be a court officer who repeatedly refused to take alcohol concentration tests, the authorities have drawn up a record and fined the vehicle owner according to the law.

Specifically, at around 7:40 p.m. on January 3, the working group of Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 (Department PC08 An Giang) conducted a patrol and control at Km 97+800 in Vinh Thanh Trung town, Chau Phu district.

Here, the working group discovered that the motorbike with license plate 59V3-195.22 driven by a man showed signs of violation, so they stopped the vehicle for inspection.

When checked, the driver did not present vehicle registration or driver's license, but only presented a Party Membership Card and identified himself as THH (born in 1960).

The working group asked Mr. H. to come 15 times but he still did not comply.

It was only when the authorities announced that they would issue a report for not complying with the request to test alcohol concentration that Mr. H. agreed to the test. The results showed that Mr. H. violated the alcohol concentration limit of 1,081 mg/l of breath.

The working group then drew up a record, temporarily confiscated the driver's license and vehicle. By January 9, Mr. H. had complied with the decision to impose an administrative fine of 7 million VND and had his A1 driver's license revoked for 23 months.

According to initial information, Mr. H. is currently retired and works as a security guard in Binh Duong province.

Regarding the above incident, Chau Phu District People's Court affirmed that Mr. THH is not an officer of this unit.

“After the clip was shared via Zalo by many individuals and organizations, it affected the reputation of Chau Phu District People's Court. We request that the authorities take measures to consider and handle Mr. THH in accordance with the law,” the document stated.
