From October 27-31, free examination and surgery for children with lip and palate deformities in Dak Lak province

The Provincial Children's Fund in collaboration with Operation Smile Vietnam will organize free examination and surgery for children with lip and palate deformities in Dak Lak province.

Accordingly, patients with congenital cleft lip and palate who have not had surgery (cleft lip at least 5 months old, weighing 8 kg or more; cleft palate from 18 months old, weighing 10 - 12 kg or more); patients with sequelae of congenital cleft lip and palate of all ages (nasal scars, palatal holes, nasal deformities) will be screened and operated on.

Examination and surgery time: 5 days (from October 27 to October 31, 2023). Of which, at 8:00 a.m. on October 27 (Friday), the screening examination will be held; from October 28 to 31 (from Saturday to Tuesday of the following week), the surgery will be performed.
