Tu Mo Rong (Kon Tum): Effectively implementing information and communication work for National Target Program 1719

Tu Mo Rong district has installed 86 billboards to propagate, disseminate, educate the law and to mobilize ethnic minorities in 86 villages.

Recently, Tu Mo Rong District People's Committee has issued many documents and directed relevant units and commune People's Committees to effectively implement the National Target Program 1719; including information and communication content in Sub-project 1 and Sub-project 2, Project 10 of the Program.

Accordingly, for Sub-project 1 on dissemination, legal education and propaganda, mobilizing ethnic minorities, the capital allocated for implementation in 2024 is 718 million VND. Up to now, the district has installed 86 billboards for dissemination, legal education and propaganda, mobilizing ethnic minorities in 86 villages and hamlets in the district and has disbursed 538 million VND.

Investing in online meeting equipment for all communes has helped Tu Mo Rong district authorities to facilitate the leadership and direction of the implementation of the National Target Program 1719.

For Sub-project 2 on establishing support points for ethnic minorities to apply information technology in the National Target Program 1719, the district has supported communes with equipment such as: Internet, TV, amplifier, speaker, microphone, computer keyboard and other auxiliary materials and equipment for installation... Currently, more than 518 million VND has been disbursed.

The timely implementation of Sub-project 1 and Sub-project 2 has contributed to improving the capacity to use information technology, supporting socio-economic development for ethnic minority areas in the district, especially the application of information technology and digital transformation in the implementation of the National Target Program 1719.
