On the evening of October 3, 2023, in Hanoi, the People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi organized the Launching Ceremony of the Peak Month "For the Poor" and Social Security in 2023. With the philosophy of developing enterprises associated with social responsibility, T&T Group has joined hands to support 1 billion VND for the Fund "For the Poor" of Hanoi city.
In recent years, the emulation movement "For the poor - leaving no one behind" for the period of 2021-2025 launched by the Prime Minister and the Peak Month "For the poor" (October 17 - November 18) have received support and positive responses from agencies, organizations, businesses and people of all walks of life in the capital through the Hanoi City "For the poor" Fund. That contribution has profound practical and humane significance; creating a spread, supplementing important social resources to care for and support poor households, near-poor households, households in especially difficult circumstances and contributing to reducing the city's poverty rate to 0.095%.
However, at present, Hanoi still has more than 2,100 poor households and nearly 22,300 near-poor households in need of support and assistance from businesses, individuals and philanthropists. Therefore, timely and practical support from businesses and people of all walks of life in the capital will be a valuable source of motivation, adding material and spiritual strength to help disadvantaged households have a solid foundation, thereby rising up to escape poverty and stabilize their lives; at the same time, contributing to realizing the goal of having basically no poor households in the city by the end of 2025.
At the launching ceremony, Mr. Do Vinh Quang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of T&T Group, represented the company to donate 1 billion VND to the "For the Poor" Fund of Hanoi city.

Also at the ceremony, the People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city commended and honored T&T Group for its positive contributions to poverty reduction and social security in the city.
Taking the philosophy of business development associated with social responsibility as a guideline in all activities, during 30 years of formation and development, T&T Group has always actively responded and pioneered in accompanying and implementing the policies of the Party and Government on social security work with a budget of hundreds of billions of VND each year.

Most notably, over the years, Vietnam's leading multi-industry private economic group has always actively responded to the campaign to support the "For the Poor" Fund of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities across the country. Specifically, in 2022, T&T Group joined hands to support 1 billion VND to the "For the Poor" Fund of Hanoi city and 10 billion VND to the Central "For the Poor" Fund. Previously, in 2020, T&T Group and businesses in the ecosystem also supported the Central "For the Poor" Fund with 30 billion VND and supported the "For the Poor" Fund of Hanoi city with 5 billion VND.
In the context of the country being severely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, T&T Group, together with SHB Bank and businesses in the ecosystem, have supported the epidemic prevention and control work with a total amount of more than 1,500 billion VND.
