On the afternoon of May 24, the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank (CSXH) of Hoa Lu district coordinated with the People's Committee of Truong Yen commune to organize the launching ceremony of "Saving money to join hands for the poor" in 2024.

Attending the launching ceremony were representatives of the Provincial Social Policy Bank, Hoa Lu District Social Policy Bank Transaction Office, socio-political organizations, and a large number of people and businesses in Truong Yen commune.

Implementing the movement "Saving money to join hands for the poor" launched by the Provincial People's Committee, up to now, after nearly 3 years of implementation, the whole province has had more than 3,100 collectives and individuals participating in saving money at the Bank for Social Policies with a total amount of over 450 billion VND.

From this source of capital, thousands of poor households and policy beneficiaries in the province have had the opportunity and conditions to invest in production, increase income, and improve their lives; many students with difficult circumstances have been able to continue pursuing their dreams of studying.

At the launching ceremony of "Saving money to join hands for the poor" in 2024 in Truong Yen commune, more than 80 individuals and organizations opened savings books at the Bank for Social Policies with an amount of over 2.3 billion VND.

It is known that in 2024, the Transaction Office of the Social Policy Bank of Hoa Lu district disbursed 6 billion VND in loans to poor and near-poor households, students with difficult circumstances, etc. in Truong Yen commune. This source of capital helps households have capital to do business, escape poverty, and increase income. In 2024, the number of poor households in the commune decreased to 50 households, accounting for 1.35%.

The activity of depositing savings into the Bank for Social Policies has demonstrated profound humanity, creating financial resources to better meet the borrowing needs of the poor and other policy beneficiaries, contributing to the implementation of the province's sustainable poverty reduction goal.
