100% of Royal School 12th grade students are exempted from English exams
A representative of the school board said that 100% of grade 12 students this year were exempted from the English exam because they had an IELTS certificate that was valid for two years. A good foreign language foundation and a certain level of confidence also helped many students conquer this certificate with high results right from grade 11.
With the support and guidance of a team of highly qualified foreign teachers, students confidently conquer high scores, many achieving IELTS 7.5, 8.0 on their first attempt.
In 2022-2023 and 2023-2024, grade 12 students at Royal School continuously received scholarship results and study offers from prestigious universities in Vietnam and internationally. The common point of the students receiving the above results is that they all possess an IELTS certificate of 7.0 or higher.
It can be said that nowadays, prestigious English certificates such as IELTS are like a 'passport' that brings many advantages to students. Many top universities in Vietnam and around the world also consider IELTS as a plus point when students apply for valuable scholarships.
Bilingual educational environment
When designing the training program framework for students as well as applying teaching methods, Royal School always strives to provide quality content, ensuring a harmonious combination of English and Vietnamese knowledge sources.
A good English foundation will be an advantage for students in the university environment.
Sharing from Mr. Rourke Evan Mc Vicker, a teacher at the School, said: ' To develop the ability to use English, in addition to mastering theory, Royal School also focuses on presentation lessons or debate activities so that students can practice agility, improvisation and appropriate use of language '.
Tran Quoc An (grade 12 student, Royal School) said that after three years at school, he achieved an IELTS score of 7.5: ' This result has helped me gain more confidence and an advantage when applying to universities. I thank the teachers at Royal School for always accompanying and supporting me throughout my studies '.
Exciting presentation activities help students practice confidence in using English.
Teachers and students become a bond
At Royal School, teachers have interesting teaching methods and students have diverse approaches. For example, in Science, students will regularly participate in creative projects, research practical products, then present the products and exchange and share knowledge with teachers and friends.
Or in the Global Perspectives subject, students will work in groups and share about an issue of concern in the world, then discuss and present their personal views on that issue.
Teachers are like 'friends' accompanying students throughout their learning journey at Royal School.
Royal School teachers always actively listen and discuss with students to implement learning activities suitable to students' needs. This also helps students become more interested in knowledge and develop more English vocabulary in various fields.
Many academic playgrounds such as the Royal Speaking Contest, Career Fair, University Exchange, etc. also help students practice and improve their foreign language skills.
In addition to IELTS, students at all levels such as primary and secondary schools also achieved high results in the Cambridge Checkpoint, A2 Flyers and B1 Preliminary exams...
