With the motto "The quality of the school's training is the combat readiness of the unit", over the years, the Information Officer School has always linked the school's training work with the actual tasks of training, combat readiness and combat at the units.
During the training process, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Information Officer School always consider organizing graduation internships for students as an important step in the training process and always seek many solutions to improve the quality of internships for students.

Colonel Nguyen Nhu Thang, Vice Principal of the Information Officer Training School, said: “This school year, the school organized for final year students to do internships at 28 information units of all military branches and services in the entire army. This is an opportunity for students to apply the knowledge they have acquired at school to solve specific tasks at information units throughout the army. Before organizing the internship for students, the school thoroughly explained the purpose, requirements, and tasks to the officers, instructors, and students on the internship, opposing the simplistic thinking and taking the internship task lightly, while directing departments to do a good job of preparation, ensuring that students participating in the internship have a firm grasp of the organizational characteristics, information equipment and structure of the units, especially new information equipment.”

Sergeant Hoang Trung Dung, a student of class DH26 TCM, Battalion 20, Information Officer School, said: “At the internship locations, we, the students, received attention, guidance, and favorable conditions from the leaders and commanders of the units. At the same time, with the eagerness to learn of the officer cadets who have studied and trained at the school, we quickly approached and applied the knowledge and skills we had been trained in during the internship to achieve the best results, contributing to the completion of the common tasks of the School as well as in the units where we practiced.”
Major Thieu Huu Cuong, Lecturer of the Faculty of Telecommunications, an instructor of interns at Division 377, Air Defense - Air Force, added: “During the process of instructing interns, due to the nature of information units stationed in large areas, many provinces and cities or scattered on routes and separate stations, meeting directly to instruct interns in the process of performing tasks still faces many difficulties and is not done regularly. Therefore, to ensure that interns complete their tasks well, for interns at separate stations and stations, we have to regularly call to discuss and instruct interns to perform the contents according to their assigned responsibilities and tasks”.
The final internship is an opportunity for students to get acquainted with the reality at the unit, apply the knowledge learned at school to perform initial tasks and responsibilities according to the output standards of the training program. At the same time, through practical activities, the school has a basis to evaluate the qualities and abilities of students, learn from experience, supplement and update training content to continuously improve the quality of education and training of the Information Officer School in the system of military schools and academies.
