According to the school board of AISVN International School, after a day of meeting and discussing with parents yesterday, March 17, the school temporarily let students take a day off on March 18 to focus on solving the school's personnel and financial issues.

"School is closed today, what about tomorrow?"

Previously, at 9:00 p.m. on March 17, Ms. Nguyen Thi Ut Em sent an email to all parents of the school to inform them about temporarily suspending school on March 18.

"After a day of meetings and discussions with parents who attended the meeting from 9am to 6pm on March 17, the school is currently focusing on resolving the school's personnel and financial issues.

Therefore, the school board would like to inform parents that all students will be temporarily off school for one day, Monday (March 18) so that we can re-plan policies to ensure the interests of all current students.

Tomorrow, the school board will continue working and update parents on future plans," the email said.

According to parents, after receiving the above notice from the school, they had to let their children stay home from school today. Many parents are very upset and worried about the situation at the school.

Most parents are upset because many people pay large sums of money to invest in the entire package for their children to study at this school.

"Today the school announced that all students will have a day off, but we don't know if there will be another day off tomorrow. We invested billions in AISVN International School to send our children to school here, but we don't understand why the school owes teachers so much that they don't come to work," said Nguyen Hoang, a parent, indignantly.

Waiting for the results of contact and negotiation with the investment fund

Previously, on March 17, the AISVN International School Board held a meeting with parents to inform them about the school's operations.

Nearly a day of working between Ms. Nguyen Thi Ut Em and the school's leaders and the parents focused on finding solutions to the current financial difficulties that have led to the inability to pay full and timely salaries to the school's teachers and staff.

According to information from the meeting, after searching for various solutions, the solution of mobilizing parents to continue to pay more money to support the school board of AISVN International School is facing many difficulties and is almost impossible.

In addition, Mr. LAT (one of the parents) has found a venture capital fund that confirms that it will immediately promote with a short-term financial institution and will invest about 200 billion VND with the proposal to own some shares of AISVN International School (this investment fund has learned about the school's situation and agreed to accompany and share the school's existing debts).

Ms. Ut Em will announce the specific percentage of shares on March 19, after the results of the meeting with the partner.

At the same time, Ms. Ut Em also agreed to contact short-term investment funds (not just the investment fund introduced by Mr. LAT) and must have a solution by March 21 at the latest.

Contacts and negotiations with the investment fund will be witnessed by parents' representatives and representatives of the executive board so that the negotiations can soon reach results and the school can be operated again as soon as possible.
