Reflecting to Tien Phong reporter, Mr. NP, whose child studies at Nam Ty Primary School for Ethnic Minorities in Song Ma District (Son La), said that his house is more than 10 kilometers from the school, so his child stays in the dormitory from Monday to Friday to study. According to the State-supported regime, each student is given nearly 43,000 VND for meals each day. Since October, when he comes home from school, his child often complains that the meals at school are very boring and hard to eat. Therefore, he and other parents went to the school to check.
“Sometimes, the children’s rice only has a little vegetable soup and 2 sausages, some days it only has vegetables and boiled eggs, some days it only has vegetables and tofu. There are also times when the menu is fried meat but in reality it is fatty meat braised with a lot of water,” said Mr. NP.

According to this parent, when he saw the meager lunch menu, he and other parents reported it to the school's Board of Directors. The Board of Directors also responded that they would remind the kitchen to fix it, but after that, the students' meals were still not adjusted.
"Students are at the age of eating and growing, we want meals to be improved to ensure nutrition," said Mr. P.
