Can Tho University topped out the 600 billion VND Health Science Institute project

On September 5, Nam Can Tho University (DNC) held a topping-out ceremony for the DNC Health Sciences Institute with a total investment of 600 billion VND.

The project is built on the DNC campus with a 10-storey structure with more than 83 functional rooms and 11 lecture halls, serving the teaching, learning and research activities of lecturers, students and trainees.

Leaders at all levels attended the topping-out ceremony of DNC Health Sciences Institute

Dr. Nguyen Van Quang, Principal of DNC, said that after 15 months of construction, the DNC Institute of Health Sciences has basically completed the rough construction and is aiming to complete the interior and exterior. In the first quarter of 2025, the DNC Institute of Health Sciences will be inaugurated on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of DNC. The project is invested with modern facilities according to international standards, originating from Europe, applying the advanced medical model of the US and countries with leading medical backgrounds in the world.

When put into use, DNC Institute of Health Sciences will not only meet the training scale for more than 5,000 health students of the school but also receive and train international students from countries that have been licensed to train at DNC ​​according to the signed memorandum of cooperation between DNC and VMED Organization (India) and other international organizations.
