In 2024, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law will have a record number of excellent graduates.
After 45 enrollment and training courses, since the establishment of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law Branch (1987) up to now, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law has had 25 students awarded excellent graduation certificates (2018: 1 student; 2020: 1 student; 2021: 2 students of K42; 2022: 5 students of K43; 2023: 6 students of K44 and 2024: 10 students of K45).
In particular, in 2024, the school broke its record with 10 students ranked excellent. Among them, Vo Nguyen Anh Thu, high-quality class, French enhancement course 45, with a total course score of 3.75 (on a 4-point scale), is the school's highest-scoring excellent student to date.
Before receiving their diplomas, 1,459 new graduates performed a ceremony to express gratitude to their families and teachers who have accompanied them during the past 4 years of study.

The graduation ceremony was solemnly held at Military Zone 7 Gymnasium (Phu Nhuan District) on the morning of August 18.
Many parents were moved when they saw their children receive their diplomas.

To mark their journey to adulthood, many students also designed their own impressive graduation caps. Nguyen Cao Quyen, a student in the high-quality class, said it only took about 10 minutes to decorate the graduation cap but took a whole day to come up with the idea.
"Since last year, the colorful graduation caps have become a unique feature of the school. The school allows students to keep their graduation gowns, so I also want to design the cap to be impressive and have my own style. Looking back, this will be a priceless gift of youth" - Quyen shared.

Sharing at the ceremony, Dr. Le Truong Son, Principal of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, said he was very proud that the school's students were sought after by employers, the rate of students having jobs right after graduation was very high and received positive feedback from employers.
According to statistics, among the students attending the graduation ceremony, 31.5% of students had jobs before deciding to graduate; 21.2% of new graduates continued to register to study at a higher level.
