The 'most beautiful and modern university in Vietnam' announced early admission scores

Vietnam-Germany University has just announced the admission scores for early admission methods, including admission results from the separate TestAS exam. This is the school that, on the occasion of its inauguration in November 2022, former Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, commented that this is the most modern and beautiful school in Vietnam.

In 2023, this university will enroll 775 students for 7 majors including: computer science , mechanical engineering, construction engineering, electrical and computer engineering, architecture, business administration and finance - accounting.

Of which, the Computer Science major has over 70% of candidates with a passing score of 110/130 in the TestAS exam and about 30% of candidates have an average score based on high school transcripts of 9.0 or higher.

In 2023, the admission score of candidates to the school in this exam is 90 points (calculated from the basic exam and the specialized exam).

The TestAS exam does not directly test knowledge but focuses on assessing cognitive, reasoning and problem-solving skills through multiple-choice questions in English. One of the characteristics of the TestAS exam is its ability to predict the candidate's ability to succeed in studying a certain university major. The exam is held at the Vietnam-Germany University and transferred to the TestDaF Institute, Germany for centralized marking.

With The method of considering high school transcript scores, the admission standard score is based on the average score of 5 subjects including 3 compulsory subjects (math, literature, foreign language) and 2 elective subjects (in physics, chemistry, biology, history, geography, information technology). In which, the highest admission score is 8.0 for computer science and the lowest is construction engineering with 7.0.

In addition to the early admission methods that have just announced the admission scores, Vietnam-Germany University continues to accept applications for admission based on high school exam scores and other direct admission methods within the time prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training.
