On the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), on the morning of July 17, Comrade Dao Xuan Yen, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, visited and offered flowers and incense to the heroic martyrs at the Sam Son City Martyrs Cemetery; visited and presented gifts to war invalids, families with meritorious services and the Center for Care and Nurturing People with Meritorious Services in Sam Son City. Also participating were representatives of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; Sam Son City Party Committee.

Laying wreaths and offering incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs who are resting at the Sam Son City Martyrs' Cemetery, Comrade Dao Xuan Yen, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and members of the delegation observed a moment of silence to remember and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who did not spare their blood and bones, fought bravely and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and reunification. After the ceremony, members of the delegation lit incense on each grave of the heroic martyrs.

Currently, the war invalids and martyrs’ relatives are all old, in poor health, and often sick. The Head of the Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda Department requested that local Party committees and authorities continue to pay attention to and care for the lives and health of these subjects; at the same time, do a good job of repaying gratitude, creating both material and spiritual conditions for the families to have a stable life.
