On November 12, Comrade Bui Dinh Thi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee attended and celebrated with the people of Chu area, Yen Son commune, Thanh Son district on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024) and Vietnam Law Day November 9.
Also attending were representatives of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Department of Justice; leaders of Thanh Son district and many people in the area.
Khu Chu currently has 73 households with 351 people, 100% of whom are Dao ethnic people. Despite difficulties, the people in the area uphold the spirit of solidarity, diligence, and creativity in labor and production, taking advantage of all potentials and strengths, overcoming all difficulties to develop the economy and society. The average income per capita is currently estimated at over 20 million VND/person/year; the number of poor households has decreased to 24 households.
People in the area always comply with the Party's policies, the State's laws and policies, the conventions and civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals, festivals and longevity celebrations; effectively implement the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". The rate of households achieving the title of Cultural Family is 75%; 13.7% of households have achieved the title of Cultural Family for 3 consecutive years.
On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the province, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee Bui Dinh Thi presented flowers to congratulate the people of Chu area. He hoped that the people would continue to promote the achieved results, well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws, preserve cultural identity, unite and help each other develop the economy, and improve their lives.
On this occasion, delegates presented 10 gifts from the Provincial Fund for the Poor and 5 gifts from the Thanh Son District Fund for the Poor to poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households in the area, each worth 1.2 million VND.
Yen Son commune leaders awarded the title of Cultural Family to 46 households and the title of Typical Cultural Family to 17 families.
