Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission attends the National Great Unity Day in An Giang

On the morning of November 2, the Front Working Committee of Phu Hoa II Hamlet (Binh Hoa Commune, Chau Thanh District, An Giang Province) solemnly organized the National Great Unity Day.

Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee attended the National Great Unity Day in Phu Hoa II hamlet.

Attending the festival were Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Mr. Cao Xuan Thao - Member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Also attending were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang province, representatives of intellectuals, ethnic groups - religions and a large number of people of Phu Hoa II hamlet.

Delegates and people reviewed the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front. Mr. Nguyen Minh Thong - Party Cell Secretary, Head of Phu Hoa II Hamlet reported on the results of the implementation of the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" in 2024.

Phu Hoa II Hamlet has 1,055 households with 4,868 people. Of which, 70% of the population lives on agriculture. Over the past year, with the attention of the Party Committee, the Movement Steering Committee, the departments, branches, and mass organizations of the commune, the Hamlet Front Working Committee has organized propaganda and dissemination of the Party's policies, the State's legal policies and a number of other local policies on the fields of economy, culture, security - defense, hunger eradication and poverty reduction, and the national target program on advanced new rural construction.

The hamlet mobilized 144 gifts for poor and near-poor households to celebrate Tet; presented gifts to 5 families of young men leaving for military service in 2024.

The hamlet has coordinated with the commune's labor, war invalids and social affairs officers to give longevity money in 2023 to 55 elderly people in the hamlet. Mobilized people to install 13 solar lights.

During the year, the Phu Hoa II Hamlet Charity Group organized the construction of 4 new houses for poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households in the hamlet, and repaired 2 houses with a total amount of more than 117 million VND. At the same time, it provided full support for the poor when their families had a funeral for 3 households with a total amount of 12 million VND. Mobilized people to spread crushed stone on 1.7 km of rural roads in the hamlet.

In the hamlet, there are many economic development models with high efficiency. Typically, the Soft Mosquito Net Craft Village, mushroom growing and effective production of 600,000 mushroom spawns annually. Helps solve the problem of idle labor in the locality. In the hamlet, there is currently a model of "Learning Family".

During the year, the Hamlet Front Committee also organized 9 propaganda campaigns to mobilize people to clear trees, build fences, flagpoles, and clean the environment with 225 participants. Organized propaganda campaigns to mobilize people to comply with the Party's policies and the State's laws. Especially associated with the content of the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", propaganda to prevent all types of crimes, Traffic Safety - Security and Order, Law on Gender Equality, and domestic violence.

Promoting the role of the people as masters and implementing well the democratic regulations at the grassroots level, all issues related to rights and legitimate interests are brought up for public and democratic discussion, posted at the Hamlet Committee and announced on the commune radio station, specifically: holding meetings to collect opinions on building the Convention, reviewing poor and near-poor households, organizing discussions on youth recruited to perform military service.

Speaking at the Festival, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac, on behalf of the leaders of the Party, State and Vietnam Fatherland Front, sent his warmest regards and best wishes to all the people of Phu Hoa II Hamlet. At the same time, he praised and congratulated the results that the cadres and people of the hamlet have achieved in the past time.

“After listening to the report, I am pleased to see that, although there are still many difficulties, the majority of the population lives on agriculture, 70% of the population lives on agriculture, the remaining 30% of the population mainly works as hired laborers, but the people of Phu Hoa II Hamlet have made many efforts, united, built neighborly relationships, helped each other to eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, develop the economy, build new rural areas and achieved many encouraging results”, said Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac.

At the same time, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac requested that Party committees, authorities, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front of An Giang province continue to pay attention to leading and directing the consolidation, improvement, and further improvement of the effectiveness of the activities of the Fatherland Front at all levels; give utmost priority to taking care of the activities of the Front and cadres doing Front work at the grassroots level, because this is the most important area in the Front's activities; practice and promote democracy, listen to the people, be active, proactive, and truly care about resolving the legitimate and legal aspirations and pressing issues of the people. Implement well the motto "people know, people discuss, people inspect, people supervise, and people benefit"

The Fatherland Front at all levels continues to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, further improving its role as a bridge between the Party, the government and the people; being extremely dynamic, creative, and oriented towards the grassroots, using many diverse and rich forms to care for and protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people, and strengthen social consensus in accordance with the spirit of the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front: "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Creativity - Development".

Regarding the residential area of Ap Phu Hoa II, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee Phan Dinh Trac hopes that the people will continue to unite, strengthen brotherly and good neighborly relations, share, support and help each other to build and replicate typical and advanced models of helping each other to sustainably reduce poverty.

Mobilizing and effectively using the Fund “For the poor - social security”, activities of Phu Hoa II Charity Group... determined to have no more poor households, near-poor households, striving to have many well-off and rich households. Building a new cultural lifestyle, preserving and promoting the nation's fine cultural traditions, striving for 100% of households to achieve cultural families; continuing to promote the tradition of mutual love and care, paying attention to policy families, families in difficult circumstances.

In addition, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac hopes that people will promote the movement of studiousness, encouragement of learning, and encouragement of talent in each family and community; maintain the mobilization of 100% of school-age children to go to school, no students drop out of school; strive to have more students pass university and college entrance exams to eliminate poverty, get rich, and contribute more to building the homeland and the country.

Maintain 100% of households with access to electricity and clean tap water; the landscape environment is bright, green, clean, beautiful, joyful and healthy. Implement well the regulations on democracy at the grassroots level, maintain security and social order in the area, no social evils, no lawbreakers, do not let hostile forces take advantage of inciting, luring and dividing. Strengthen the gathering and attraction of the masses to participate in movements, campaigns, and socio-political organizations, build a great national unity bloc, take care of building "clean and strong" Party cells and hamlets.

On this occasion, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac and the delegation presented gifts to the Front Work Committee of Phu Hoa II hamlet; presented 105 gifts to policy families, households in difficult circumstances and presented 100 bicycles to students.
