China starts to break through the rankings

In the men's 100m freestyle final, China's Pan Zhanle won the Olympic gold medal, breaking his own world record in 46.40 seconds. This is the first swimming world record of the 2024 Paris Olympics and the first gold medal for the Chinese delegation in swimming at this tough arena.
