However, Kumar then won the next two sets. ★ The highlight of today's competition day, August 2, of the Vietnamese Sports Delegation is the competition between Vietnam's number 1 shooter Trinh Thu Vinh in the women's 25m pistol event. In the qualifying round of this event, Thu Vinh will have to compete with 25 shooters from other countries in two standard and rapid fire events with a total of 60 bullets to select the eight highest-ranked athletes to enter the finals. This event also brings together all the world's top shooters who have won at least one world championship or major international tournaments. Although she did not have a medal in the women's 10m air pistol event before, Thu Vinh, currently ranked 29th in the world, has shown an excellent performance when she became the first female shooter in the history of Vietnamese shooting to enter the finals and ranked fourth in this event at the Olympics. In the women's 25m sport pistol event, domestic fans still hope that Thu Vinh can make a surprise and continue to make her mark.Nhandan.vn
