The Prime Minister requested that in the coming time, Hanoi city and relevant ministries and branches review the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 13th National Congress, the Resolution of the Hanoi Party Congress and Party Congresses at all levels, the resolutions and conclusions of the Central Committee, especially the direction of General Secretary and President To Lam at the working session with the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on August 9, 2024 to have more breakthrough and effective solutions in the development of the Capital.

Gradually solve urban infrastructure problems related to transportation, education, health, environment, society, etc.
Ensure social security, progress and social justice; resolutely prevent shortages of medicines, medical supplies, equipment and human resources; prepare well for the new school year; do a good job of salary reform in conjunction with controlling market prices, ensuring the supply of essential goods, preventing shortages of food, foodstuffs and petrol. Focus on environmental protection to make the capital increasingly green, clean and beautiful.

Regarding the Duong River waterway upgrade project: Hanoi City resolutely directs and accelerates site clearance, resettlement and handover of the entire site in 2024, ensuring the project is completed in 2025.
Regarding the flood prevention plan for the Huu Bui - Huu Tich area, the area affected by the flood of the forest: The Hanoi People's Committee reviewed and supplemented the content of the flood drainage and flood prevention solution for the forest in the right area of the Bui River in Chuong My district into the flood prevention and control plan for the dike river in the Hanoi Capital Planning to ensure consistency with the Flood Prevention and Dike Planning of the Day River system.
